I remember my diagnosis period of "you have multiple sclerosis" so vividly because I wanted to be hyper aware of everything I was feeling in hopes of turning those emotions into something constructive years to come. I wanted to so closely observe everything that was going on to have edge an over my new reality. Observation, I believe is the key to a lot of things. It allows us to learn what NOT to do in the future. It teaches us how to listen to our instincts and let our intuition lead us.

I truly hope this solo chat can offer something to someone going through that newly diagnosed process. And of course like always, if you need ya gurl, email me, DM me, message me on FB. I will always get back to you, most likely with a funny video message to lighten the mood of things. ;)

One day at a time. One step at a time. One breath at a time. Whether you believe it or even know it right now...you GOT THIS.

About your Host:

Hey! My name is Brittany Quiroz (key-rose). I am a Multiple Sclerosis Advocate, Speaker, Writer and Creator. After my diagnosis of MS in 2019 I made a whiplash career change and found purpose in my diagnosis to raise awareness for the disease while empowering others to embrace the disasters of life.

I approach life with complete transparency and find freedom in unfiltered authenticity. I'm here to break the stigma of what disability looks like while ripping up the rule book.

Multiple Sclerosis has changed my life in so many different ways. I am grateful to have a voice in the MS Community that hopefully provides, hope & inspiration, topped off with a bit of chaos and comedy of course.

Disability is hard. Disasters are abundant. And chronic illness is relentless. But so are we! So embrace your disasters, your victories get enough attention! ~ BQ
