Permanent Forum on People of African Descent, Attorney Justin Hansford illuminates the political motivations and prejudices that led to the unjust trial and conviction of Marcus Garvey for mail fraud in 1923, and makes a persuasive case for overturning Garvey’s conviction and, at minimum, exonerating him of the false charges that led to his unjust imprisonment.
