Mike's Mom Catherine was diagnosed with brain cancer around 1995 and passed away in 2006. She was approximately aged 54. Even though she lived 11 years, her condition deteriorated over the years and was an invalid for much of that time. Mike shares stories and memories of Catherina and his learnings from the way he dealt with the grief immediately after. Whilst Brittany never had the opportunity to meet Catherine, she shares what she has learnt about Catherine from Mike's family including their similarities.
