In 1910, two wealthy sisters would respond to an advertisement that promised wellness in the Seattle wilderness. An institution devoted to natural therapeutics, "Wilderness Heights" was run by Dr Linda Burfield Hazzard. To locals, however, the grounds were infamously dubbed "Starvation Heights"...
