In this episode of The Cattle Call, Curtis sits down with Arnold Wienk and Ty Eschenbaum at Arnolds home in South Dakota to talk about the history of Wienk Charolais Ranch at Lake Preston, South Dakota. Listen in as Arnold talks about his start in the Charolais breed with letter to Litton Charolais and help from his dad to his retirement sale in 2014 when the Eschenbaum Family took over the Ranch. Ty also shares stories about his Grandpa and their first sales, his parents coming back to the ranch to the current family members involved with the ranch. They also talk about some of the great bulls that have come out of the Wienk Program and some of the philosophy on breeding Charolais Cattle.
