Following her graduation, she completed a General Practice Residency program at Bronx-Lebanon Hospital in New York City. Dr. Mukanga established Healing Wings Inc., a nonprofit organization that was based in Dallas, with the aim of raising awareness about the importance of proper oral hygiene. For Dr. Mukanga, dentistry is not an option. It is a mission.
