What does it mean to you to suffer with Christ? Have you thought how Christ uses our suffering to bring us closer to Him? Suffering can lead us to ask some hard questions of ourselves. For example, am I really giving all of my life to Christ? Am I trusting Him totally with every aspect of my life, hurt anger, doubt, grief? Can my suffering awaken in me a reality that I am not close enough, that I need more, want more and need to cry to Him to help my unbelief? If it was not for our suffering and being pushed beyond our ability to endure, we would never know the power, love and care of our Lord who carries us through it.
