The disappearance of Bryce Laspisa is a haunting mystery that remains unsolved. Bryce, a 19-year-old college student from Illinois, vanished in August 2013 while driving from Northern California to his parents' home in Southern California. In the weeks prior, Bryce exhibited unusual behavior, including heavy drinking, giving away belongings, and ending a relationship, which concerned those close to him. On August 27, he began the drive home but behaved erratically, spending hours in one place and making cryptic statements to friends and family. The next day, his car was found crashed at Castaic Lake, with his belongings inside but no sign of Bryce. Despite extensive searches of the area, he was never found. Theories about his disappearance range from voluntary disappearance and accidental death to foul play, but no definitive answers have emerged, leaving his family and investigators grasping for clues in one of the most baffling missing person cases in recent memory.
