Today we welcome Bruce Stahl, Senior VP and Head of U.S. Individual Health at RGA. In this episode, he highlights his career journey, from his initial involvement in the late '80s to his significant role in shaping insurance products and navigating industry shifts.
Bruce also shares a story about a time he was asked to price a single premium policy. When comparing his results to other policies in the market he found that one single premium policy was about a third of the price. It appeared that the company actually forgot to renew the lapsed assumptions when pricing. Stahl saysthis shows the need for a strong process and assumption controls on pricing.
Tune in as Bruce furthers the conversation on societal value of long-term care insurance, and its role in supporting families and individuals in managing future financial needs.
