And by our brains, I'm not just talking about the adult brain, but also our kids. Areas that are hit the most are important things like sleep, mental health, education, resilience, perseverance and creativity.
But like you, I struggle to cut my kids off completely. Screen time often feels like a moment of self-care when everyone is calm and quiet in the house. How wonderful! Yet, I feel it's only fair for you to hear about the downside of parking you or your little ones and teens in front of the shiny boxes.
