On August 4, 1577, St. Mary's church in Bungay, Suffolk, England and The Holy Trinity Church located 12 miles (19.3 km) south in Blythburough, Suffolk, England were both packed with parishioners for Sunday services despite a thunderstorm ravaging the area.
