This week, Sarasota SpeaX sits down for an in-depth conversation with CEO & President of LightShare Behavior Wellness and Recovery, Shawny Robey. This is an organization that has been in Sarasota for over 50 years, helping those who struggle with addiction, mental illness, depression. They provide a way for the individual to get help, and have a support structure to put them on the path to recovery and beyond.
Shawny shares the various ways that different individuals struggle and cope with a variety of issues. In many cases, most individuals may not know a person needs help because they are able to function in a way that isn’t so readily apparent. She talks more in depth about how LightShare operates, and what you can do if you, or someone you know, is in need of their services.
