A retreat is a focused vacation that you, the host plan for your guests. The retreat has a focus such as relaxation, rejuvenation, connection, business growth etc... A big bonus of planning a retreat is that on top of making some money- you also get a free vacation!
A mastermind is a bit like a course but more focused with a like-minded group of people that want to dive deeper into solving a problem or growing their business. Masterminds are often high-ticket offers.
