In the first Care Home Management magazine podcast of 2020 we talk to care home singer Sharon Wallace about her experience as the Unexpected Star of the Show on Michael McIntyre’s Big Show on the BBC on Christmas Day. She also explains her project Handmade For Dementia. We also have a wonderful interview with 93 year old Sonja Sternberg who, with her sister Gisela, fled the Nazis in the Second World War. Both were both awarded the British Empire Medal for their services to Holocaust Education in the 2020 New Year’s Honours List. Sonja and Gisela are both now residing at Belong Morris Foundation in Didsbury. Our packed January podcast concludes with a fascinating interview with Davina Ludlow from carehome.co.uk who talks about some insightful research by P&G Professional. Its study reveals what people look for when researching a care home for their loved ones. A podcast not to be missed. Support the show
