Bio
Megan is an educator, writer, memoir coach, and sexual assault victims advocate. She’s interviewed internationally renowned music educators, composers, and performers on her podcast Sing, Coach, Conduct, which has listenership in multiple countries. Recently, she served as Secretary of the Michigan chapter of the American Choral Directors Association and President of the Central Michigan University Choir Alumni Association. In 2021, Megan founded the Lux Women’s Choir in Mid-Michigan to create safe artistic spaces for women. In September, Megan will launch Give Her the Pen, a memoir coaching business that empowers women to share their stories, one page at a time. Megan’s debut memoir, Dissonance, will be released in paperback, ebook, and audiobook on November 25, 2024.
