For the moment, Zan & Lem have escaped the Whitecloak's grasp, but they are far from safe in Baerlon. Once reunited with Emylia, Elmyr, and Daphne, the Deven Riders must spring for the hills as they continue their treacherous journey towards Tar Valon. But what enemies await them in the woods? What enemies may yet pursue them? "Run when you have to, fight when you must, rest when you can." But I fear there will be little rest enough for these unfortunate folk.
