Spanish cuisine is well known and appreciated all over the world, but this success did not happen overnight. Gastronomy in the Iberian Peninsula has been changing and evolving for centuries, and now an exhibition gives us a look into what it was like in the Middle Ages.

The oldest cookbook in Spain is being exhibitted for the first time ever in the exhibition "Medieval Gastronomy. El llibre de Sent Soví and the cuisine in the 14th and 15th centuries". Medieval history professor, Juan Vicente García Marsilla, was in charge of curating the exhibition and joined in this broadcast to tell us about it!
