Hello hello, friends, enemies, lovers... welcome to Impressionable.
This is the podcast that uncovers all of the small and big ways in which we have been shaped by the world around us. Each week I am joined by a different guest to learn how they have been influenced throughout their lives (for better or worse).
This week I am joined by Zainab Mahmood. Zainab is Green Fashion Editor of It’s Freezing in LA! magazine and founder of Ahista Stories. Since 2019, Zainab has been campaigning, creating educational resources on the harmful environmental and human impacts of the fashion industry, and writing for award-winning publications like gal-dem and The Guardian on the intersections between fashion, faith, climate and capitalism. She is also undertaking a Master’s in Environment, Politics and Development at SOAS.
In this episode, we talk about all things fast fashion, sustainability, direct action, and #influencers.
I really enjoyed speaking to Zainab, and I hope you enjoy the conversation.
You can find Zainab ( @zainab.slow.fashion )on IG & Ahista stories (@ahista.stories)
Please share, rate it 5 stars and come back each week for more!
This episode was co-produced by Darcey Bevins.
Lots of love,
