JFD returns this month as we celebrate Sci-Fi-ebruary with a trio of science fiction films that couldn't be more different from one another!

Up first, a group of scientists listening for signals from outer space are teleported to a distant world where they must solve riddles and avoid being sacrificed by savage aliens in
Amicus Productions' attempt to get into the sci-fi genre, The Terrornauts from 1967.

Next, The Wachowskis (who brought you The Matrix) bring the classic cartoon Speed Racer to the big screen in a colorful, fast-paced, live-action film from 2008 starring Emile Hirsch, Christina Ricci, John Goodman, Susan Sarandon and Matthew Fox

Finally, Larry Fessenden tells a modern-day Frankenstein story in 2019's Depraved about a military doctor who creates life from the remains of the dead and faces the moral implications that go along with it.

All this plus Valentine's Day chat, porno drive-in talk, Kevin's review of The Monkey, Parker's thoughts on Companion, Joe Bob gets reprinted, Wal-Mart vs zombies, what could be next for optical discs and so much more!
