Voices for Justice

Oct 22 2020 51 mins 3k

Voices for Justice is written, produced, and, hosted by Sarah Turney. It features the story of missing teen and Sarah's sister, Alissa Turney. Alissa went missing from Phoenix, Arizona in 2001 when she was 17 years old. The only person of interest in Alissa's case is her and Sarah's father. This podcast gives a never before seen and extremely intimate look into the strange circumstances leading up to Alissa's disappearance. Sarah will be reviewing 30+ years of video and audio records, 3000 pages of case record from the nearly 20 year police investigation, and current efforts being made to get justice for Alissa.

Justice for Alissa

Lynda Aug 20 2020
I am not finishing this one as I can't hear too much of it properly so I'm missing too much. I learned of Alissa's case around 3 years ago when Missing Alissa was out. That was very, very good indeed. Tonight I saw Sarah's Tweet about her father's arrest at long last. He's been charged with 2nd degree murder for now. Such exciting news and I saw in her message she has this show. I may not learn too much more as Ottavia was very thorough but the sound quality on calls is too hard to hear.

An interesting and informative podcast with an easy to follow format, great for fans of True Crime. I hope you get justice for Alissa.

Sarah does such a great job and is so transparent.

pandah18 Jul 03 2020
What a wild ride... emotional and captivating. A great podcast of a sister never giving up on getting answers on the disappearance of her big sister. A must listen!

Sarah, you should receive an award as the bravest, sincerest, most resolute person in podcasting. I can't even begin to comprehend the frustration you must be feeling and I'm so hopeful that you will be successful in your incredible journey. Keep getting out the word about the gofundme so that funds can be raised for the search, billboards, etc. Also, some attorney should be jumping on this pro bono considering the upcoming publicity will make them famous. Keep at it, we're with you in spirit!
