The time, money, and effort you dedicate to your family will be well worth it. Time may not have a price tag, but it is invaluable. This mindset motivates us to intentionally make more time for our family.

We can easily distinguish black from white on a checkerboard. However, identifying opposites in life, the difference between good from bad is not that easy nowadays. In this episode, I will suggest that discernment is rooted in having a standard. Without a standard, our kids can be easily deceived and swayed towards wrong beliefs and way of living.

Respecting those in authority is one of the traits that our children must learn. In this regard, raising children the Biblical way requires telling them of these truths: all authority came from God, we are to pray for our government leaders, and it is always best to trust God than to trust men.

COVID 19 has been forcing countries around the globe to make this difficult decision - preserve life and health or protect the economy. The tension between these two options creates anxiety to many. Nevertheless, there is a better perspective than just choosing between life or livelihood as we try to survive in the midst of the pandemic.

Parents must be their children's best friends. Developing friendship with our children requires spending time with them, motivating and encouraging them, and being authentic towards them.

In a generation wherein being self-centered is a way of life, our children must learn the opposite - to be compassionate to others. Teaching our children to be compassionate starts with the parents modelling it . Training our children to be compassionate requires shaping their heart's affections and tendencies.

Must you homeschool your child? To answer this question requires finding out your priorities as a parent. It is not merely question of practicality or accomplishment. Whether or not to homeschool your child is a matter of parenting.

Depressive disorder has become widespread nowadays especially among the youth. Parents can do something about this concern. By spending time with their children, opening the lines of communication, and teaching them to know and love God, parents can prevent their children from developing depression.

Suffering is real. Suffering is inevitable. Our children must be prepared to process the reality of sufferings in this world. In this episode, I will be sharing three things that our children must learn on this subject: suffering is part of life, suffering does not define who God is and suffering leads us to hope in God's deliverance.

The things of this world cannot give us lasting satisfaction. Our children need to learn that life does not consist in the abundance of possession but in being content, in being humble and in faithful submission to the plans of the Lord.
