Vegan kids podcast

Today we are live at Vegfest Brighton as we ask some of the people in the vegan kids play area why they are vegan.

We were inspired by our day at the Stompers launch yesterday to talk about brands and how they can cater more towards Vegan Kids. As a Vegan Kid do you think brands could do more to cater, Who is doing well at the moment and what is available.  Each week I talk with my daughter Megan (aged 10) on what it's like being a Vegan Kid. 

In this weeks episode we give you some tips on what it’s like to be vegan and interacting with non vegans.

Megan and I discuss why vegans don’t ride horses, the ethics of horse riding and is horse riding vegan.

We discuss vegan events and if we should be having them if they are on non vegan land? Should vegans go to events and what is the best form of activism.

We explore about zoos and animal attractions and why we as vegans shouldn’t support zoos we discuss how do we find out if a place is good for animals or not.

This week we discuss, the different reasons people can go vegan. From health, the environment and for the animals. Is there a best reason to go vegan?

This week we discuss, the strange things you might find in food and not realise are not vegan! There are some really weird things and some quite disgusting things too! If you’re not already began you will be after this!

This week we talk about a few issues that can come up at school during the run up to Easter. Like decorating an egg or when the class gets given chocolate eggs that aren’t vegan!
