Heartbeat Theatre is a drama old time radio show, airing from 1956 to 1985, which gives dramatic accounts of regular people helping others through illness, tragedy, heartbreak, and more. It was sponsored by The Salvation Army to raise funds and many of the characters in the show either volunteer as Salvation Army Officers or live in a Salvation Army sponsored Home. The show quotes Bible verses and proclaims the power of prayer, but is neither pushy nor preachy. GSMC Classics presents some of the greatest classic radio broadcasts, classic novels, dramas, comedies, mysteries, and theatrical presentations from a bygone era.
