A.Paul has been a driving force in the evolution of techno music since its inception. He is recognised for his intense DJ performances and his relentless stream of studio productions for some of the best labels in the world. Operating under his own name as well as aliases like Loudon Kleer and Beat Therapy, A.Paul has spent over 30 years dedicated to electronic music, earning a reputation as one of the most versatile and prolific artists in the scene. His distinctive sound and technique have propelled him to a remarkable career, first gaining recognition in Portugal, where he was repeatedly voted the best Portuguese techno DJ, and later on an international scale. A.Paul has performed at some of the most prestigious mega-eventsaround the world, including Awakenings (Netherlands), Apokalypsa (CzechRepublic), Evolve (Canada), Nature One (Germany), Rock in Rio (Portugal),Syndicate (Germany), Ruhr-in-Love (Germany), Tecnolandia (Portugal),Aquasella (Spain), Liberty White (Belgium), and Decibel (Netherlands). He has also graced the decks at iconic clubs such as Tresor, U60311, Lehmann, and Butan (Germany); Fabrik, Moog, Makumba, Ind Copera, Row14 (Spain); Perron, Panama, Poema (Netherlands); Rex and Inox (France);and Locomia, Rocks, Kremlin, Gare, Pacha (Portugal), among many others. A.Paul’s first record was released in 1995, followed by the creation of two of his most acclaimed projects of the 1990s: Squeeze Records and Onh.Cet Records, which were the primary outlets for his music during that decade. In 2005, he launched Naked Lunch, a bold new label that has since featured some of the best techno artists in the world and received incredible feedback from DJs and fans alike. In 2012, he relaunched Onh.Cet, alongside other projects such as Parallel 125, Dirty Ego, The Light, and Xtractz. He also co-founded MPC, a vinyl distribution company, with Michaelangelo (Labrynth Recs) and Cisco Ferreira (The Advent). A.Paul has released over 100 vinyl records and many digital releases on labels like Kombination Research, Synewave, Planet Rhythm, Suara,bItalo Business, Pure Sonik, Theory, Mastertraxx, Beat Disaster, Yin Yang, and Impact Mechanics. He has also remixed tracks for renowned artists such as The Advent, Ben Sims, Eric Sneo, Angel Alanis, Orlando Voorn, Damon Wild, DJ T-1000, Virgil Enzinger, Robert Armani, Dave The Drummer, DJPreach, Mike Humphries, Spiros Kaloumenos, Torsten Kanzler, Bas Mooy, Housemaster Boyz, and many more.
