David and Trevor have both worked in the business finance space for over 35 years.
David is the founder of Number Eight Business finance and specialises in providing and advice and access to all business finance products available today.
Trevor is the founder of Alexander Angel and provides independent consultant advising lenders, brokers and software companies. He has also been instrumental in coordinating and founding a guild of professional business finance intermediaries.
The main cause of the podcast is to help provide a bigger signpost and voice for those professionals that are trained, qualified and are providing an essential support mechanism for those SME's that are wanting to gain access to the best-fit finance products available.
Following the collapse of the UK high street banks in c.2008, business owners have found it difficult to find the best finance pathways. Despite various efforts with the British Business Bank and HM Treasury to support the signposting needed, all efforts have yet to be actioned or prioritised.
The podcast will feature guests from all areas of the market including the lenders; industry experts and the business owners, too.
