Dialectics (n.) – The art of investigating or discussing the truth of opinions. The discourse between two people holding opposing viewpoints view but trying to establish a common truth through reasoned discussion. Born out of the renowned, best-selling Yin : Yang label concept, musical discourse is brought to life through the meticulous choices of Tripp Baronner – DJ, curator and full-time member of the Proton team. Presenting “Dialectics,” a monthly show airs on Proton Radio and DI.fm showcasing the finest underground music talent in two contrasting but inextricably linked hours. Part 1 sees Yin thematically represented while Yang is juxtaposed through Part 2. Intimately interconnected while fluid by design, resident hosts alternate and interchange with guest artists to create a dynamic dialectical discourse.
