Judith Farrell Horvath started as a business exec, and homesteader till she was busted for having illegal backyard chickens in suburbia. With her husband and kids along for the ride, starting with zero knowledge, they went all-in and moved, starting their own family farm in Central Ohio raising hair sheep, dairy goats and much more. Judith’s entrepreneurial success enabled her to quit the corporate world for good. Judith believes the only way to secure a resilient food supply chain in the future will be networks of small local farms, requiring a lot more farmers! Her mission is to help others sidestep avoidable errors and unnecessary costs to accelerate their own successful ”farmpreneurial” ventures and be part of the solution. Resilience, gratitude, community and ecological regeneration are the guiding philosophies at Fair Hill Farm, since 2013. www.fairhillfarm.com
