It was started as an US Army Production starring radio personalities such as Turhan Bey, Lee Tracy, Howard McNear, Jeff Chandler, Joe DeSantis, Miriam Wolfe, Mason Adams and more. The commercials are an interesting glimpse into past army advertising offering 'highest-quality technical classes' and Army reserve possibility to the 1950s youth.
