This podcast is all about exploring what it means to be human. What traits, qualities and experiences we share, no matter how different we are and in searching for and celebrating our differences, finding our similarities – the things that make us…human.
Without doubt, we all have room to dissolve unhelpful patterns and refine across all layers of our constitution – body, breath, mind and deeper – but this podast was born because of one crucial, prolific factor – not understanding what it is to be human.
Negative self-talk, feelings of failure or of simply just not quite getting things right, these are things I hear in my clinic on repeat. Do you ever find yourself plagued with uncertainty? Are you ever confused about what to do, how to behave or even what to feel?
My name is Lissie Jane, I’m a radio broadcaster and a therapist and in this series I’m bringing those things together to again dig deep into the stories of people, this time to help you agonise a little less by understanding a little more what are the distinct and fundamental characteristics – rather than character flaws – of being human.
This is the podcast where you learn to become a little kinder to yourself by first and foremost understanding what you fundamentally are.
