This podcast ‘Case Notes,’ is for anyone interested in the Medical Humanities and History itself. It examines some of the different ways that doctors have thought about health and illness over the past two thousand years and will raise general insights about the origins of modern scientific medicine, the role of medicine in society, and the extent and limits of scientific thinking through the ages.

The Podcast are live recordings from the Edinburgh History of Medicine Group. For the past few years the group has asked academics from across the world to come to the Royal College of Physicians home in Queen Street Edinburgh to present their research.
