Beginning with the coronavirus lockdowns, the Thomistic Institute has been regularly broadcasting lectures and conversations from the Dominican House of Studies in Washington, D.C. through YouTube, Zoom, and Facebook. These lectures last about 40 minutes followed by 20 minutes of live Q&A with the online audience. Some of the most popular videos include “Plagues: What We Can Learn from the Bible” by Fr. Anthony Giambrone, O.P., “Angels and Demons,” a conversation with Fr. Basil Cole, O.P., and “Hillbilly Thomism: Flannery O’Connor’s Vision of Grace” with Prof. Jennifer Frey. Other lectures explore many more themes of philosophy, theology, and literature.
