booking: [email protected] Samir Kuliev was born in Baku Azerbaijan in 1979. At the very young age he showed the interest in arts and studied at the Baku School of Choreography. In 1990 when the war broke out in Azerbaijan he and his mother migrated to Krasnodar, Russia where he graduated from Krasnodar Theater Institute and started his career as an actor. In 2000 Samir moves to Moscow and performs at the different theater venues. During this year Samir was introduced to an incredible word of electronic music and spins his career a different direction. From then on he works as a full-time DJ and organizer of unique parties around the Moscow-city. In 2007 Samir introduces his own radio show about electronic music titled “Chustvo Ritma” (Sense of Rhythm) on Moscow radio station Megapolis 89.5 FM. In a few years the show gains a popularity and becomes one of the best radio shows about electronic music in Russia and the rest of the former USSR. The most famous artists, musicians and Dj's, such as: Solomun, Sasha, John Digweed, Nick Warren, GusGus, Hot Since 82, Guy Mantzur, Sahar Z. and many others great persons were presented as a guests at this show.Today, Samir's «Chuvstvo Ritma» one of the most popular radio show in Moscow, being supported by more than 20 radio stations. In 2014 Samir starts a record label “Chustvo Ritma Rec” (Sense of Rhythm) where he produces his own music and tracks of the talented Russian artists creating music in progressive, deep, techno styles. In 2016, the monthly show "Sense of Rhythm" appeared on the Frisky radio station in New York, where Samir plays a variety of electronic music for his listeners around the world. In 2016, Samir became a participant in the international ADE conference (Amsterdam Dance Event) by playing a special set on the dance floor of Frisky radio along with such artists as Just Her, The Third Son, Wild Dark and others. In 2018, Samir's track "Running up that hill (Tribute to Kate Bush) was supported by Solomun at the FrameWork Festival in Los Angeles and at Tulum in Mexico. Nowdays Samir is not only a participant in many Russian and foreign festivals such as AFP (Russia) and Episode (Vietnam). He is also the organizer of his own parties in the best Russian clubs such as Gazgolder club (Moscow), Chauteu de Fantomas (Moscow) Heaven (Moscow) and others. Currently, Samir is full of ideas, dreams, and passion for electronic music and is open for co-operation. He wants to expand the scope of dance culture and believes that electronic music can express the deepest thoughts, emotions, beauty and true human greatness.
