The Soil, Shadow and Spirit Podcast Mini-Series features visions of the future from Black mamas who lead organizations, businesses and communities. In social, economic and climate instability we are faced with several practical realities: the need for community, the skills to build that community, and the vision that helps us thrive, especially in times of crisis. Who better to hold a vision for thriving than mothers, who multiply love beyond what we imagine possible? Who better to build community than Black leaders, who have the experience to weave individuals together in a cohesive whole and the grace to move through grief and fear to caring?
