SIDESTREAM originally made it's debut in 1993, on radio station KCDD 103.7 FM in Abilene, Texas.
While the other rock stations were still playing The Doobie Brothers and AC/DC and the such, Cody was bringin' a totally new sound and vibe to the West Texas airwaves.
Breaking artists on the FM such as: WEEZER, BECK, THE NIXONS, RADIOHEAD, POP POPPINS, WHITE ZOMBIE, MACHINES OF LOVING GRACE, KoЯn, ELEVEN, etc. etc. etc. blah-blah-blah. The show would air LIVE every Friday night, with a HUGE following...we're talkin' non-stop phones, fan-mail, prison art and collect-call prison requests to boot!! IT WAS DEFINITELY NOT THE MAINSTREAM!
30 years since it's original air date...IT'S BACK!! And this time around, SIDESTREAM takes on a significantly new meaning. Get your spelunking gear on, AND LET'S GO MUSIC MINING! And remember to BOOST! BOOST!! BOOST!!!
