David Penzer has been in the wrestling business for well over three decades. At the height of the WWF/WCW Monday Night Wars, David Penzer was the voice of World Championship Wrestling. He announced multiple legends to the ring at the height of their careers – men like Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair, Randy Savage, Roddy Piper, The NWO, The Four Horsemen… a who is who of the wrestling business of the 1990’s.
He also rode down the roads with the likes of such amazing wrestling minds like Arn Anderson and Kevin Sullivan. So… David Penzer has a story to tell.
In Part 1 of this two-part conversation, Cody and Penzer discuss how he came to get into the wrestling business, how his father helped him with his mental health issues throughout his career, and the multiple lessons he learned from legendary performers as he worked in Turner-owned WCW.
