We are heading into Valentine's Day month and there will be a ton of messages about having your romantic partner meeting your needs and showering you with love and gifts. While it’s lovely to celebrate our love for people in our life–it’s also important to celebrate the love we give ourselves.
Part of how we can give and receive love for ourselves and become our own best friend, our own inner loving parents, or the main character of our life is to intentionally practice filling up our cup. Intentionally taking time to nourish your mind, body, heart, and soul–vs. waiting for someone else to do it for you. It doesn’t mean we stop relying on others, but it means we take responsibility for our own fulfillment and wellbeing.
Next week I am hosting a 7-Day Challenge, Filling Your Own Cup, inside the You Love and You Learn Patreon community! We’ll go through how to define your needs (what fills your cup), how to meet your needs without crazy pressure and strict rules, how to prioritize yourself, and how to become flexible in meeting your needs as you evolve as a person.
Today’s episode gives you a sneak-peek into Day 1 of the Filling Your Own Cup challenge. Join here for just $7/month! (cancel anytime) Join the Patreon here: https://www.patreon.com/YouLoveandYouLearn
