THE ECOPOLITICS OF TECH #2

What might ecofeminist and decolonial tech look like – from the sourcing of materials to supply chains, to production, programming, use and recycling? How might we imagine technological development beyond extractivism, exploitation, colonization and individualization? In this episode we speak to artist-researcher Stefanie Wuschitz about her work on ecofeminist hardware (with Patricia J Reis), permacomputing and feminist hacking, the contradictions of the tech world and the need for collective efforts to democratize and decolonize technology. What might it mean to do tech with care, the earth and global justice?
