Dr. Lorna Jarrett has a mandate to foster community with wellness and health promotion initiatives through collaborations. Her Top Clifton Strengths are Strategist, Achiever, Self-Assurance, Relator, & Connectedness. These strengths align with her passion to help individuals increase their quality of life through increased mobility despite disease, chronic discomfort, disability, or aging. To that end, Lorna owns Adaptive Living Solutions KC, an adaptive home modifications nonprofit, and Pneuma Pilates and Wellness, an integrated health and wellness pilates studio. She is a community leader volunteer for several boards, advisory and steering committees that are doing amazing work within the American Physical Therapy Association (PTA Council KS Representative, APTA-PTA Council Steering Committee), Special Olympics (Clinical Director), Neuro Arts Alliance-ARTS-KC (Coalition Advisory Board), Value Unconditional Trauma Counseling (Advisory Board), Kansas Health Institute (Age-Friendly Kansas Advisory Committee), and Unite KC (Health Care- Community Relations Director) Her unique strategies for conflict resolution and personal development include certified professional executive coaching from the Coaching and Positive Psychology Institute (CaPPS), together these areas aid in restoration and healing for organizations, communities, and individuals.
