Hi there

In this week’s episode we look at the impact of ‘Presenteeism’ in the workplace. Presenteeism refers to the practice of you showing up to work despite being ill, stressed, or otherwise unable to perform at your best. On the surface, it may seem like a sign of dedication and commitment. However, beneath this pretence and superficial appearance of hard work, lies a lot of negative consequences that can harm both you and the job!

It's our view, that the more you are able to acquaint yourself with your employment rights in this area, the more your rights will act as an early warning system, which you can use to spot bad treatment or illegal treatment that you may be suffering at work. If you need help to formulate your complaint you can download a copy of our ‘Complaints Checklist’ here.

If you need help with any matters discussed in this podcast episode or you would like to book a consultation with us to look at employment rights concerns you may have, you can email us at [email protected]
