This week i'm sharing 6 ways you can create better mental health and have a rock solid mindset.
A few things I really want to emphasize are:
We are not meant to "feel good" all the time, because we don't! Life is both "positive" and "negative" and so nothing has gone wrong when we are experiencing negative emotions. And as you have probably heard me say on other episodes, the negative emotions are always guiding us to what we do want, so learn to listen to the message.
Another important point is that putting in "work" or "effort" is really what creates those fulfilling feelings. We are meant to create and accomplish things, not just consume content. So if you find yourself feeling low or unhappy, do something helpful for someone else, create something, finish a project, get outside, workout, eat something nourishing, connect in real life with someone close, or get some rest.
